Bloomsburg Women's Soccer Defeats Clairon

CLARION- The Bloomsburg University women's soccer team defeated Clarion University by a score of 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Kelsey Stoka (Langhorne/Neshaminy) scored an unassisted goal six minutes before halftime put the Huskies on top, 1-0. Ashley Brucker (Blairstown, NJ/North Warren) scored of an assist from Suzie Wade (Watsontown/Warrior Run) just one minute into the second period to give the Huskies a comfortable 2-0 lead.

Frances Nicoletti (Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield) made three saves in goal to pick up her 5th shutout of the season.

The Huskies, 6-1, will travel to West Chester University on Tuesday for a 4:30 p.m. start.
